AC adapter
A device that connects an NEC Versa portable computer and an AC wall
outlet to provide AC power for running the system and recharging the
battery.
A/D conversion
The process of converting an analog signal into a digital signal.
AGP
Advanced Graphics Port is an interface specification designed for the
throughput demands of 3D graphics. AGP introduces a point-to-point
channel allowing the graphics controller direct access to main memory,
increases bandwidth to 266-MBps, and supports throughputs of 533-MBps
and 1.07-GBps.
animation
The art of making things appear to move in two-dimensional (2-D) or
three-dimensional (3-D) space and making events happen over time.

Software designed to perform specific functions, like solving business or
mathematical problems.

The range of frequencies that humans hear.

base RAM
Area of system memory between 0 and 640 kilobytes available to the user
for the operating system and application programs.
