FUNCTION TESTS
8.4.2 Test run
Do not run the
pump for more
than 30 sec.
If machine stops dur-
ing test, simply press
the Lungo coffee button
again.
6) Press the Lungo coffee button.
7) Completely open the slider and insert
the prepared capsule.
8) Close the slider.
The pump starts to build up a pressure
of approx. 20 bar.
Always wear pro-
tective goggles
during the test.
Note on point 9: A few
drops of leakage can
also appear if the capsule is
not tight
. In this case redo
test with another capsule.
9) Check tightness of extraction chamber
(drops or leakage).
10) Check connections under pressure for
audible and visible leaks.
Pay special attention to the high pres-
sure connector.
Let machine cool
down, i
f capsule is
blocked in the
capsule com-
partment. Wait 10 to 15 min
until the pressure in the
brewing unit has dropped.
Then open slider and
remove blocked capsule.
11) Insert capsule container with drip tray
and attach cup support.
12) Press Lungo coffee button to stop
pump and eject capsule.
13) Proceed with repair if needed or reas-
semble top cover.
