Assembly checkpoints
• Never re-use damaged cables.
• The flat cable connector (50) is fragile. Check orientation of connector before inserting.
7.4.13 Remove main board and flowmeter
• Open 4 clips with a screwdriver and dismantle front cover (81) and back cover (82)
of electronic module.
.A replacement PCB (MMI PCB or main PCB) has no stored machine serial number
but will retrieve it from the other original PCB after switching on the coffee machine.
Use ESD protection
measures when han-
dling main board (23).
Caution - Nespresso App. can be locked!
Do not replace main PCB together with MMI PCB at once. Otherwise the
machine serial number, stored on the original PCBs, will be lost and
pairing resp. using the Nespresso App. is not possible anymore.
