FUNCTION TESTS
By looking into the
capsule ejection slot
form below, the screw head
is visible on the right-hand
side. There is a conductive
connection between this
screw head and the ther-
moblock.
7) Touch slider with red test probe.
8) Press "measure" button.
9) Read off displayed insulation resist-
ance or test result.
10) Insert tip of red test probe up into cap-
sule ejection chute and touch screw
head on the right-hand side.
11) Press "measure" button.
12) Read off displayed insulation resist-
ance or test result.
13) Touch ground pin of power plug with
red test probe.
14) Press "measure" button.
15) Read off displayed insulation resist-
ance or test result.
The insulation resistance must be
always higher than 300 kOhm
(300’000 Ohm).
16) Switch off test equipment or continue
with special tests for Prodigio&milk
coffee machine.
17) Short red with black test probe to
make sure that test voltage is dis-
charged.
18) Fill in results in a test report.
Special tests for Prodigio&milk coffee
machine:
1) Remove milk frother from swivel arm.
2) Insert red test probe in central opening
of Otter connector (ground connec-
tion).
3) Press "measure" button.
4) Read off displayed insulation resist-
ance or test result.
The insulation resistance must
always be higher than 300 kOhm
(300,000 Ohm).
