Yourtractorhasahydro-staticsteeringsystemwhichprovidesconvenienceandeaseofoperationofthesteering
wheel.Anon-loadreactionsystemreducesthefeedbackfeltbytheoperatorwhentravelingoverroughground
throughthesteeringwheel.
Operatingnotes
•
Ifthereistoomuchofaloadinthefrontbucket,itcouldbedifculttooperatethesteeringwheel.Inthiscase,
reducethesizeoftheloadormovethetractorslowlyforwardwhileturningthesteeringwheelinthedirectionof
desiredtravel.
•
Donotholdthesteeringwheelfullytotheleftorrightafterthefrontwheelshavereachedendoftravelformore
than10seconds.Thiscouldoverheatthesteeringsystemandcausedamage.
•
Ifanabnormalsoundisheardwhileoperatingthesteeringwheel,thismeansthatthereissomeairinthesteering
componentsline.Inthiscase,turnthesteeringwheeltoleftandrightfullyandholdforabout5seconds.Theair
shouldbleedoutandtheabnormalnoiseshouldgoaway.Ifthesounddoesnotgoawaytakeyourtractortoyour
authorizedNEWHOLLANDdealer.

Whenoperatingthetractorincoldweather,theabnormalsoundmaybeheard.Inthiscase,warmupthetractor
beforeusingtoreducetheoilviscosity.
•
Iftheenginestops,thehydraulicpowerforthesteeringsystemwillstop.Thelossofhydraulicpowerwillmakethe
steeringwheeldifculttoturn.
