CO.,LTD.hereafterreferredtoasYANMAR,arepleasedtoexplaintheemissioncontrolsystemwarrantyonyour
2016,2017,or2018modelyearindustrialcompression-ignitionengine.California-certied,newoff-roadcompres-
sion-ignitionenginesmustbedesigned,builtandequippedtomeettheState’sstringentanti-smogstandards.Inthe
remainingfortynine(49)states,newnon-roadcompression-ignitionenginesmustbedesigned,builtandequipped
tomeettheUnitedStatesEPAemissionsstandards.YANMARmustwarranttheemissioncontrolsystemonyour
enginefortheperiodsoftimelistedbelowprovidedtherehasbeennoabuse,neglectorimpropermaintenanceof
yourengine.
Youremissioncontrolsystemmayincludepartssuchasthefuelinjectionsystem,theairinductionsystem,theelec-
troniccontrolsystem,EGR(ExhaustGasRecirculation)systemandthedieselparticulateltersystem.Alsoincluded
maybehoses,belts,connectorsandotheremission-relatedassemblies.
Whereawarrantableconditionexists,YANMARwillrepairyouroff-roadcompression-ignitionengineatnochargeto
youincludingdiagnosis,partsandlabor.
Manufacturer’sWarrantyPeriod:
2016,2017,or2018modelyearoff-roadcompression-ignitionenginesarewarrantedfortheperiodslistedbelow.If
anyemission-relatedpartonyourengineisfoundtobedefectiveduringtheapplicablewarrantyperiod,thepartwill
berepairedorreplacedbyYANMAR.

forthewarrantyperiod.Warrantedpartsscheduledforreplacementasrequiredmaintenanceintheowner’sman-
ualarewarrantedfortheperiodoftimepriortotherstscheduledreplacement.Anywarrantedpartsscheduledfor
replacementasrequiredmaintenancethatarerepairedorreplacedunderwarrantyshallbewarrantedfortheremain-
ingperiodoftimepriortotherstscheduledreplacement.Anypartnotscheduledforreplacementthatisrepairedor
replacedunderwarrantyshallbewarrantedfortheremainingwarrantyperiod.
Duringthewarrantyperiod,YANMARisliablefordamagestootherenginecomponentscausedbythefailureofany
warrantedpartduringthewarrantyperiod.
