white balance (P, S, A, and M modes only; 0 76).

Active D-Lighting (P, S, A, and M modes only; 0 69).

HDR

Keeping the Fn button pressed, rotate the command dial to adjust
HDR settings (P, S, A, and M modes only; 0 71).

+NEF (RAW)
If image quality is set to JPEG fine, JPEG normal, or JPEG basic,
“RAW” will appear in the information display and an NEF (RAW) copy
will be recorded with the next picture taken after the Fn button is
pressed.
To exit without recording an NEF (RAW) copy, press the Fn
button again.
This option has no effect when Night vision, Color
sketch, Miniature effect, or Selective color is selected in special
effects mode.

Auto bracketing

Keeping the Fn button pressed, rotate the command dial to choose
the bracketing increment (exposure and white balance bracketing) or
to turn ADL bracketing on or off (P, S, A, and M modes only; 0 83).

AF-area mode

Keeping the Fn button pressed, rotate the command dial to choose an
AF-area mode (0 36).

Live view
Press the Fn button to start live view.
To end live view, press the button
again (0 93).
B
AE/AF lock Focus and exposure lock while the Fn button is pressed.
C
AE lock only Exposure locks while the Fn button is pressed.
E
AE lock (Hold)
Exposure locks when the Fn button is pressed, and remains locked
until the button is pressed a second time or the standby timer expires.
F
AF lock only Focus locks while the Fn button is pressed.
A
AF-ON
The Fn button initiates autofocus.
The shutter-release button can not
be used to focus.
* Selected option can be viewed in information display by pressing Fn button.
