Cleaning the unit
WARNING
Always disconnect the power supply on the safety switch and wait for the fans to stop before opening the door.
Also remember the safety switch for the electrical after-heating element (if installed).
ATTENTION
Nilan recommends, as a minimum, fi lters of the types ISO ePM10 > 60 % fi lter (M5) or ISO ePM1 > 50 % fi lter (F7).
Using the wrong fi lters can cause leakages in the ventilation unit and reduce the fi ltration function.
The data and curves specifi ed in the manual are based on the use of original fi lters. The certifi cation of the
ventilation unit is likewise only valid when original fi lters are used.
ATTENTION
If the ventilation unit has a fi lter monitor (a fi lter pressure switch or a pressure transmitter), this will indicate
when fi lters need replacing. However, fi lters should be checked at least every three months. Note down the
date of every fi lter replacement so you can easily check that intervals between fi lter replacements are being
observed.
ATTENTION
Be aware of the fl ow direction when fi tting new fi lters in the ventilation unit.

ATTENTION
When cleaning the ventilation unit, care should be taken not to damage ANY parts including, for instance,
insulation strips, copper parts, ducts and slats. Electrical installations should likewise be protected from water
and cleaning products.
