4.2 Electric Motor Fire Pump

Please check the electrical drawings of the electric motor pump controller and other operating
instructions for operate the electric motor pump.

Note 1: since the FM/UL electric fire pump controller without "manual/stop/automatic"
selector switch, please follow the following steps for the first power-on operation:
1. According to the electrical drawings and operating manual of the controller-- start the
"Interlock" function, do not start fire pump automatically when the control cabinet is
powered on for the first time;
2. Set parameters to disable pipe network low pressure;
3. Disable the "Interlock" function;
4. Check the fire pump before starting, and electrify the controller after meeting the
starting requirements.
Note 2: Manually start the fire pump through the fire pump controller to check whether the
overall operation of the fire pump is good or not. If there is no problem, enable the
low-pressure starting function of the pipe network for test use.
