Trouble
Possible causes
Remedy
1. Difficulty starting
diesel engine
a) The battery is running low.
Charge or replace the battery
with a new one.
b) Starting motor damaged.
Replace starting motor.
c) Start switch relay damaged.
Replace start switch relay.
d) Poor contact of wire
connector.
Tighten or replace the joint and
tighten it.
e) The battery wire section is
small, the wire is too long.
Replace the battery wire with a
larger section.
f) The fuel supply valve of fuel
tank was closed.
Open the fuel supply valve.
g) No fuel in the fuel tank.
Add fuel.
h) Low position of fuel tank.
Raise the tank position.
i) Fuel pipe enters into air.
Exhaust the air.
j) Diesel oil filter three-way
valve is not open or diesel oil
filter is too dirty.
Replace the diesel filter valve or
clean the diesel filter.
k) Low position of fuel tank.
Raise the fuel tank position.
l) Over speed do not reset.
Reset the over speed.
m) The rack is stuck in the
no-fuel position.
Repair fuel rack.
n) The injector does not
atomize.
Clean the injector or replace it.
o) The injection pump does
not pump oil
Repair the injection pump.
p) Air filter blocked.
Clean up the air filter.
q) Intercooler blocked.
Clean up the intercooler.
r) Exhaust system blocked.
Clean up the exhaust system.
s) Improper timing valve.
Adjust the timing valve.
t) Bushing burning, shaft
journal sticking, drawing
cylinder.
Repair or replace related parts.
u) There is a foreign body in
the valve against the piston or
cylinder.
Repair or replace valve, piston,
clean up the foreign body in the
cylinder.
v) Diesel oil is too low in
temperature and too viscous.
Increase diesel temperature and
decrease viscosity.
