System Management
Edition: 01 3HE 16132 AAAB TQZZA 525
Description
This command enables the context to allocate resources for CFM bi-directional MIPs in a
VPLS service.
The no form of this command allows the MIPs to retain the Down MEP by de-allocating the
resources.
On the 7210 SAS-R6 and 7210 SAS-R12, the system does not allocate any ETH-CFM
resource slices by default. The user must allocate ETH-CFM resource slices manually. The
default number of resource slices is 0 and a maximum of 1 slice can be allocated.
Parameters num-resources — Specifies the maximum amount of resources for use by ETH-CFM.
Entering a value of def allocates the default number of resource slices.
Values Table 48 lists the parameter values.
Note:
1. Applicable only on SAPs.
