Disabling the password function
1. Enter the Security Settings > Power On Lock menu, and select O.
2. Enter the current password.
If the password is correct, the OSD Menu returns to the Password
page with O shown in the row of Power On Lock.
If the password is incorrect, a password error message will
appear for 5 seconds followed by the message, ‘INPUT CURRENT
PASSWORD’. You can try again or press OSD Menu or Return
to cancel.
NOTE: Please keep the old password, as you will need it to
reactivate the password function.
Forgetting the Password
If the password function is activated, you will be asked to enter the
six-digit password every time you turn on the projector. If you enter the
wrong password, the password error message will appear for 5 seconds,
and the message ‘INPUT PASSWORD’ follows.
NOTE: If you enter an incorrect password 5 times in succession, the
projector will automatically shut down in a short time.
You can retry or if you do not remember, you can use the “Password
Recall Procedure” as described below.
