Description
See Figure 2-1. Model 25B pumps are single piston, positive
displacement, double-acting, demand-type pumps, powered by
compressed air. They are available in four different ratios:
2:1 — Low Pressure/High Volume
4:1 — Medium Pressure
16:1 — Medium Pressure
27:1 — High Pressure
Model 25B pumps consist of an air valve, air motor, and hydraulic
section. The air motor and air valve are protected by a sheet metal
cover. The 2:1 and 4:1 pumps are made of corrosive-resistant plated
steel and can be used with chlorinated solvents. The standard 16:1 and
27:1 pumps are made of aluminum, for use in general finishing. The 16:1
and 27:1 pumps are also available in stainless steel. Use the stainless
steel versions for these types of applications:
chlorinated solvent
corrosive
waterborne
non-paint
cold glue and adhesive
