WARNING: All system components must have a maximum
working pressure rating higher than the pump’s capacity. If not,
install a locking pressure regulator immediately after the pump.
Set the locking pressure regulator to deliver a fluid pressure
less than that of the component with the lowest working
pressure rating in the system.
1. Connect the circulation valve kit to the siphon housing port.
2. Connect the siphon hose, rod and strainer to the tee furnished
with kit.
3. Connect the return line to the circulation valve.
NOTE: The pressure hosing outlet port size for 2:1 and 4:1 pumps
is

NPTF. The pressure hosing outlet port size for 16:1 and 27:1
pumps is
1
/
4
NPTF.
4. Connect a high pressure fluid hose to the pressure housing
outlet port.
5. Depending on your installation, connect the high pressure fluid hose
to the fluid heater or filter.
NOTE: Standard pumps are shipped with Type S solvent chamber fluid.
This is suitable for use with most solvent-based coating materials. Use
Type Q solvent chamber fluid for waterborne materials. Refer to your
Solvent Chamber Fluids
manual for more information.
1. Install the solvent filler cup to the filler port at the right side of the
solvent chamber. The filler cup is included with the various
mounting kits available.
2. Fill the pump solvent chamber with the proper solvent chamber fluid.
