5.4 Measuring the resistance
Measure the resistance between the machines with a voltmeter.
1. Make sure that the earth leakage circuit breakers are turned ON.
If not, turn it ON.
2. Measure the resistance between the measuring points.
When the cable of the voltmeter is too short to reach the measuring points of each machine, use an extension cable
(W407756-01) which is included in the service personnel tool.
When using the extension cable
Measure the resistance of the extension cable and take notes of it.
For the machine with the scanner
*1. Use the extension cable if necessary.
