If you did not get the right printout, review what you got in-
stead, to determine what went wrong.

Make sure you
used
the right print statement for
your
computer.
b.
Verify that
your
interface cable
is
connected properly.
c.
Make
sure
your
cable
is
wired
to
satisfy all
the
requirements
of
both
your
compute
and
your
printer.

d. Make sure the printer
is
plugged in.
"PARITY ERROR" PRINTED:
A parity error occurs when the printer checks for an odd
number
of
binary digits and
an
even number
is
received
or
vice versa.
If
you have switch 1
set
to
ON
for odd parity,
try the OFF setting. If you have it OFF, try the
ON
setting
for even parity. Then turn the printer off and try the test
again.
