Error Messages
Error messages are displayed on the printer’s 2-line LCD. The
bottom line shows the Error Code number.

FAILED <n>
Indicates that writing of message data
to be uploaded has failed. The indicated
code is a decimal value (one digit) and
represents the cause of the failure:
1 = Unknown cause
2 = Data Error; Hash check error in data
reading/writing or abnormal FLASH
3 = Overflow; Downloading failure due
to FLASH memory full at starting or
during writing
4 = Memory Full; Memory reservation
failure
5 = Unsupported Data; Downloaded
data unsupported on the printer

The printer’s top cover is open.

The printer’s front cover is open.
320 CHECK FUSER
320: FUSER MISSING
The fuser unit is not installed correctly.
