(2) Electrification
A negative DC power is applied to the electrification roller to evenly negatively
electrify the surface of the OPC drum.
(3) Exposure
The LED head irradiates light on the surface of the OPC drum that is charged
with a negative electrical load. The negative electrical load attenuates according
to the intensity of light, for the irradiation area of the OPC drum surface. Further,
the electrostatic latent image is created on the OPC drum surface according to the
electrical potential.
