(6) Fuser Unit and Paper Output
1. The fuser unit and discharge roller is driven by a single DC motor. The heater
roller turns when the fuser motor turns in the direction of the arrow (a). This
roller fuses the toner image on the paper with heat and pressure.
2. At the same time, the four discharge rollers are activated to discharge paper.
3. The discharge path to the face-up or face-down stacker is automatically switched
by the paper separator solenoid.
