Power switch is OFF

Connect the power supply cord.
(1) Check that the power switch has
been turned OFF (O).
(2) Connect the power supply cord to
the machine.
(3) Insert the power supply plug into
the outlet.

Turn ON the power switch.
(1) Check that there are no
documents in the scanner part.
(2) Check that there are no
documents in the document tray
of the automatic document feed.
(3) Turn ON the power switch (I).

Check that there is no document on
the glass.

Check that there is no document in
the document tray for the automatic
document feeder.

Press the [POWER] button until the
[Main Power] lamp turns ON.
