• When turn signals are actuated, the front
side marker lights also flash.
• Green lights on instrument panel flash to
indicate operation of turn signals.
HAZARD WARNING FLASHER

manual.
POWER STEERING
If the steering system power assist fails due
to some malfunction, or because the engine
has
stalled, the car can still be steered.
However, much greater
effort is required,
particu larly
in sharp turns.
TILT-AWAY STEERING WHEEl
This option for Delta 88 cars affords the
driver ease of entry and exit. I n addition, it
permits
the steering wheel to be placed in
the most desirable driving position. Pulling
the Tilt-Away release lever, located on the
left side of the steering column, releases
the tilt mechanism in the column so that
steering wheel can be moved to anyone of
six positions and then releasing the lever
locks it in the selected position.

The Tilt and Telescope Steering Wheel
(optional
equipment for Ninety-Eights
only) can be
tilted up above normal
position
to provide additional room for
entrance and exit as well as selected driving
pos.itions
at or below normal height. In
addition it can be adjusted in and out
within a 2-3/4" range to obtain the most
comfortable distance between you and the
wheel. The adjustments are simple and
independent of each other.
