CAUTION:
When
using
your
station
wagon
to
traosport
luggage
or
other
cargo,
it
is
recommended
that
the
articles
not
be
piled
higher
than
the
seat
backs
and
that
all
~rticles
be
secured
in
place.
This
precaution
will
help
prevent
such
items
from
becoming
dangerous
projectiles
in
the
event
of
an
accident.
Cargo
loads;
whethe~
i~side
or
on
the
roof,
should
be
distributed
as
far
forward
as
possible
for
better
vehicle
handling.
To
help
avoid
injury
in
the
event
of
an
accident
do
not
allow
passengers
to
ride
in
a
station
wagon's
third
seat
with
the
second
seat
in
load
floor
position.
STATION
WAGON
SEAT
OPERATION
NOTE: Keep seat belts
and
buckles clear
of
mechanism when folding seats, to prevent
damage to these
belt
restraints.
OPERATING THE FOLDING SEATS:
The -rear seats of your station wagon may
be quickly and easily converted into cargo
space when needed.
TWO-SEAT STYLE REAR SEAT:
1. Release
the
locking lever on
the
right
hand side of
the
rear seat
back
.
2.
Pull seat back forward
and
down.
3. To raise
the
seat, lean
on
the
front
edge
of
the
seat back panel
to
remove
tension from
the
filler panel, lift
up
the
filler panel and fold it
toward
the
seat
back,
then
lift seat back
up
and
rearward
until it locks into place.
THREE-SEAT STYLE SEATS:
1. To move
the
right side
of
the
second
seat forward for access or
entrance
into
the third seat area, unlock
the
seat back
by pulling forward
the
upper lock lever
at
the
right side
of
the
seat back;
then,
push
the
seat back forward which will
move
the
entire right
seat
forward.
When
the
seat back
is
returned
to
the
normal
sitting position,
the
seat
automatically
locks
in
this position.
