OPERATION:
The
TI
L T mechanism
is
operated
by
pulling toward you
the
small control lever
on
the
left side of
the
steering column just
below
the
direction signal lever, moving
the
steering wheel
to
the
selected position, and
releasing the lever. The TELESCOPE
feature of
the
wheel
is
used
by
rotating
the
locking lever located on
the
top
side of
the
steering column above
the
steering wheel
cover counterclockwise
to
unlock
the
mechanism, sliding
the
wheel into
the
desired position and
turn
ing
the
locking
lever
clockwise
to
make the adjustment
secure.
TOUCH
HORN
CONTROL
The
horn
is
actuated
by
depressing
any
portion of
the
padded center section
of
the
steering wheel.
REMINDER:
Remove
the
ignition
key
when
the vehicle
is
not
attended
by
a responsible
person.

BRAKING
SYSTEM
The service brake system
is
designed for
braki
ng
performance under a wide range
of
driving conditions including
the
operation
of
the
vehicle
at
full rated load.
CAUTION:
Driving
through
deep
water
may
wet
the
brakes
and
adversely
affect
brake
performance
so
that
the
vehicle
will
not
slow
down
at
the
usual
rate.
Applying
the
brakes
lightly
will
indicate
whether
they
have
been
so
affected.
To
dry
them
quickly,
lightly
apply
the
brakes
while
maintaining
a
safe
forward
speed
with
an
assured
clear
distance
ahead
until
brake
performance
returns
to
normal.

BRAKES
On
