HEADLIGHT, INSTRUMENT
PANEL LIGHT SWITCH
The headlight switch serves four functions.
( 1) Pulling the switch half-way out
pmvides parking lights, instrument
panel lights, tail lights and side marker
lights.
(2) Pulling the switch all the way out
provides all driving lights which
includes headlights, parking lights, side
marker lights, tail lights and
instrument panel lights_
(3) To dim instrument panel lights, turn
switch knob clockwise.
(4) To operate the dome light and
courtesy lights turn switch knob fully
counterclockwise.
NOTE: On certain models a rear courtesy
light switch is located directly
below the rear
compartment clock. Because this switch
overrides the
instrument panel switch, the
courtesy lights
cannot be turned off at the
instrument panel when this switch is turned
on.

The windshield wiping system operates at
two speeds, slow and fast. The controls are
located
to the extreme left on the
instrument panel.
Operation:
• Clear ice or packed snow from wiper
blade
concealment recess at rear of hood
before operating wipers. Carefully
loosen or thaw wipers that are frozen to
windshield or lower molding.
