Text Messages
Touch the adjacent Messaging icon in order to write text messages (also
referred to as "SMS") using the mobile phone. A standard message nor
mally contains maximally 160 characters.
Sending a text message with more than 160 characters could result in ad
ditional costs, depending on the terms of your SIM card.
Write messages
You can use the function to write a text message:
1. Touch Messaging Writemessage.
2. Touch To, then the required phone book contact and finally Add.
Alternatively, enter a phone number manually in the input field for the re
cipient. You can use this input field to enter several recipients for your text
message. Separate the recipients with a semicolon.
3. Touch the bottom text field for the text message and enter the required
text.
The number of characters already entered and total number of characters
available for your text (0/612) appear at the top right edge of the display.
4. Touch Options Send. The text message is sent.
