Emergency Call Function (SOS Key)
The acoustic alarm signal is very loud and can cause hearing
damage if sounded close to the ear. Hold the mobile phone away
from your ear if you press the SOS key.
The SOS key is assigned an emergency call function. Press and hold the
SOS key for approx. 3 sec. to trigger an emergency call. An acoustic alarm
signal is sounded and the emergency text is sent to the phone numbers
stored for the purpose. After that, the respective phone numbers stored
are dialled in succession in Handsfree mode.
You can assign up to 5 phone numbers to the SOS key.
Switching the emergency call function on/off
Switch the emergency call function on if you want to use it.
1. Touch Settings SOSSetting Emergencybutton On . The emergency call
function is activated.
Emergency call numbers
You can save up to 5 phone numbers to which an emergency call and
emergency text are sent after being triggered by pressing the SOS key.
Do not assign any official emergency call service numbers. A false alarm
can lead to considerable costs which could be charged to you.
1. Touch Settings SOSSetting NumberList.
2. Touch a memory location which is empty.
3. Touch Names and select a phone book contact or enter a phone num
ber manually.
4. Touch OK. The phone number is saved.
