After the fourcylindrical rollers have beenpushed into
the channel formed by the four guide rails, continue
pushingtheplasticspacerrodintotheopeninguntiljust
thetipisvisible(seeFigure 46).

Place the four remaining cyli ndrical rollers onto the
guide rails in the side channel of the guide block

Carefully push the protru ding guide block (with the
cylindrical rollers and spacer rod sitting on top of the
guiderails)intopositionbehind thefocusblock,making
surethattherollersdonotcomeoutofpositiononthe
guide rails as they are pushed in to the channel.Align
thethree
holesinthefocusblockwiththetappedholes
intheguideblock(seeFigure48).

Hold the guide block in position such that the three
holes in the focus block are aligned with the tapped
holes in the guide block.Make sure that the brass
shims are not visible through the three holes in the
focus block, otherwise the screws may damage these
shims when they
are reinstalled (if necessary, use a
toothpick or some other pointed tool to reposition the
shims so that the screws will not damage the shims
when they are reinstalled).While holding the guide
block in this position, use a 2.5mm Allen wrench or
driver to reinstall three M3x12 he x, socket‐
head cap
screwstosecuretheguideblocktothefocusblock(see
Figure 49).Initially, snug these three screws slightly,
thenbackthe m offapproximately one‐halfturntoallow
theguideblocktofloatrelativetothefocusblock.This
floatwillallow thewedgenutstomove
theslidingfocus
block, asthe tensionscrewsare tightened to eliminate
thelateralplayintheslide.
