TesttheFocusBlockforFreedomofMotion
Test the freedom of motion of the sliding focus block,
making sure that there is no significant stiffness,
binding, or lateralplayat anypoint throughout the full
range of motion of the focus block (see Figure 52).If
necessary, loosen the three M3x12 hex, socket‐head
capscrewssecuring
theguideblockto thefocus block,
and the two M3x16 hex, socket‐head cap screws that
tension the guide block, and readjust per the above
procedureuntiltheresultingmotionoftheslidingfocus
blockissmooth,unrestricted,andwithoutlateralplay.

on the arm casting, aligning the four holes in the trim
cover with the four tapped holes in the casting (see
