Chapter 3 Preparation and inspection before observation
2 Line up the marks on the scope unit and the base unit while
positioning the scope unit on the base unit and then rotate the
latches (two positions) clockwise to lock them.
CAUTION
• Be sure to insert the scope unit gently. Be careful that the CCU connector is not damaged.
• Firmly lock the two latches. Failure to lock the latches creates the risk of dropping of the
scope unit, failure to turn on due to improper electrical contact, and the inability of the scope
to meet environmental specifications regarding rain-proof, etc.
