Checking the angulation lock
1 Remove the stopper.
2 While the [ANGLE LOCK] lever is pulled out and locked, confirm
that angulation remains locked even when you remove your finger
from the [ANGLE] joystick.
3 Confirm that the [ANGLE LOCK] lever unlocks when you press it
down again.
4 If you are unable to operate the angulation lock, it means that a
stopper is installed. The stopper keeps the [ANGLE LOCK] lever
from being raised inadvertently.
CAUTION
The [ANGLE] joystick may allow to control the articulation portion of insertion tube precisely
while the [ANGLE LOCK] lever is pulled. However, if the [ANGLE] joystick of the control unit
is handled heavily, it may cause malfunction.
While the angle is locked by pull up the [ANGLE LOCK] lever, the “LOCK” label shows up on
the [ANGLE LOCK] lever. If the operation of articulation getting heavier during operation,
please check the “LOCK” label is shown or not. If the “LOCK” is shown, by pull down the
[ANGLE LOCK] lever to release the [ANGLE LOCK] status which will then get back to normal
mode.
Take care not to lose the stopper.
