Chapter 4 Basic operations
3 Press the [FRZ/REC] button for at least two seconds while the
frozen image is displayed.
The still audio recording confirmation window appears after completion of still
image recording.
4 To record audio, select “YES” and press the [MEAS/ENTER]
joystick.
Audio recording starts.
The screen shows “AUDIO” during recording. The audio is recorded for 60
seconds.
5 To stop recording press the [FRZ/REC] button again.
When the recording completes, “AUDIO” disappears from the screen.
NOTE
• Audio recording automatically ends 60 seconds after it starts. If you want to stop recording,
press the [FRZ/REC] button or press either the [LIVE/GAIN] or the [VIEW] buttons.
• If you select “NO” in the still audio recording confirmation window, the still image will be
recorded without the audio.
• You can record audio with still images to the recording card provided as standard, to the
internal memory, or to a USB memory recommended by Olympus. Contact Olympus for
information about USB memories.
