7.4. Setting Up the Network
Set the tag data links for EtherNet/IP.
7.4.1. Opening the Network Configuration File and Connecting Online
Start up the Network Configurator, open the Network Configurator v3 network configuration
file, and connect online with the Controller.
Precautions for Correct Use
Please confirm that the LAN cable is connected before performing the following procedure.
When it is not connected, turn OFF the power supply to each device and then connect the
LAN cable.

Start the Network Configurator.

Select Open from the File Menu.

The Open Dialog Box is
displayed. Select
OMRON_CJ2_EIP_EV101.nvf
(Network Configurator v3
network configuration file) and
click the Open Button.
*Obtain the Network
Configurator v3 network
configuration file from OMRON.
