8.0 WARNINGS
ALERT POTENTIAL ISSUE POSSIBLE SOLUTION
“Warn Reverse Flow” Flow is owing contrary to ow direction
indicator on meter stem
Not an actual issue present. The warning is present
as a message when the ow is going in the opposite
direction for bidirectional meters.
“Warn Low Flow” Flow is below low ow warning threshold (0.25
ft/sec), or low limit specied over BACnet
• Verify poper meter installation
• Ensure water is owing in pipe.
• Check low limit of Volume Rate BACnet object if
applicable.
“Warn High Flow” Flow is above high ow warning threshold (19
ft/sec)
Reduce ow in pipe
“Warn AOUT 1 Low Flow” Analog Out ow is below low ow threshold
(0.25 ft/sec) - port 1
• Verify proper meter installation
• Ensure water is owing in pipe.
• Check cong in Analog Outputs screen, Pipe
Cong Settings screen.
“Warn AOUT 1 High Flow” Analog Out ow is above high ow warning
threshold (19 ft/sec) - port 1
• Reduce ow in pipe.
• Check cong in Analog Outputs screen, Pipe
Cong Settings screen.
“Warn AOUT 2 Low Flow” Analog Out ow is below low ow threshold
(0.25 ft/sec) - port 2
• Verify proper meter installation
• Ensure water is owing in pipe.
• Check cong in Analog Outputs screen, Pipe

“Warn AOUT 2 High Flow” Analog Out ow is above high ow warning
threshold (19 ft/sec) - port 2
• Reduce ow in pipe.
• Check cong in Analog Outputs screen, Pipe
Cong Settings screen.

temperature exeeds max threshold (142 C) -

Verify meter operating environment temperature is
within listed specication (-20°F to 150°F). If problem
persists contact ONICON support.
“Warn AOUT 1 Open Circuit or Bad
Voltage”
Analog output controller hardware reports open
circuit or bad voltage - Analog Out port 1
• Check Power to the transmitter is ##
• Check Analog Output 1 connection in the
transmitter.
• Verify Analog Output 1 wiring to BAS to ensure
correct no wires are damaged or crossed.
• Verify conguraiton of Analog Input at BAS.
• If problem persists, contact ONICON support
