Playing CDs
This unit can store up to 25 tracks in the memory.
1. When stopped, press the MEMORY button.
appears on the display.
2. Add tracks to the memory.
0 When using a music CD, use the skip (:/9)
buttons to select a track to store, and press the
ENTER button or playback (1) button to add the
track to the memory. You can also select tracks
using the number buttons.
0 When using an MP3/WMA disc, follow the
procedures in “Selecting tracks on MP3/WMA
discs”.
0 If you register tracks one after another, they will be
registered to the end of the memory.
Example: MP3/WMA disc
3. Press the playback (1) button to start playback.
Checking the memory content: If you press the
search (6/5) buttons while a music CD is stopped, a
track number and the playback time appear. If you
perform the same operation while a MP3/WMA disc is
stopped, a folder number, file number and file name
appear.
Clearing tracks from the memory: When stopped,
press the CLEAR button to remove the last track that was
added to the memory.
Ending memory playback: When stopped, press the
MEMORY button.
0 Memory playback will also end if you press the tray
open/close (<) button to open the tray or put the unit
into standby.
With random playback, all of the tracks on the disc are
played in random order.
1. When stopped, press the RANDOM button.
appears on the display.
2. Press the playback (1) button to start playback.
Ending random playback: When stopped, press the
RANDOM button.
0 Random playback will also end if you press the tray
open/close (<) button to open the tray or put the unit
into standby.
1. Press the REPEAT button repeatedly to select the
repeat modes.
The following icons appear on the display:
: Repeats all tracks.
: Repeats one track.
0 Repeat playback and memory playback/random
playback can be used together.
Ending repeat playback: Press the REPEAT button
repeatedly until the repeat icon disappears.
0 Repeat playback will also end if you press the tray
open/close (<) button to open the tray or put the unit
into standby.
