The
sleep
timer
can
power
off
the
system
after
a
specified
time
period.
To
operate
this
function,
use
the
remote
control
supplied
with
your
tuner
amplifier.
1.
Start
the
source
playing
that
you
would
like
to
listen
to.
(CD,
Tape
or
radio
broadcast)
2.
Set
the
amount
of
time
after
which
you
want
the
system
to
turn
off.
The
sleep
timer
works
for
up
to
90
minutes.
You
can
shorten
the
timer
by
10
minute
increments
by
pressing
the
SLEEP
button
until
the
desired
time
has
been
reached.
When
the
set
time
comes,
the
power
will
be
switched
off
automat-
ically.

the
SLEEP
button
until
it
changes
to
the
source
display
you
are
listening
to.

be
cancelled
while
it
is
in
operation,

turning
off
the
power.

source

able
to
make
up
to
3
timer
settings
one
for
WEEK-
DAY,
one
for
ONCE,
and
one
for
RECORD,
provided
the
none
of
the
settings
overlap,
Note
in
example
2
that
the
OFF
time
for
ONCE
tums
off
the
unit
in
the
middle
of
the
WEEKDAY
period,
because
they
overlap.
