7. Close the top cover. Make sure the wires are not clamped by the cover.
8. Use the hex key to reinsert the screws and to secure the top cover.
Installing Memory Modules
To add additional memory (SO-DIMM RAM) to the Workstation 6 Series, perform the
following steps.
• Before installing memory modules, turn off the workstation and unplug it.
• Observe precautions for handling electrostatic-sensitive devices. Use an anti-static
wrist strap and a grounding mat.
• When handling memory, hold each module by the edges. Do not bend or drop the
memory.
