Remov al and Replacement
Figure 3–1 shows the rear of an SL150 Library where the robot, tape drive(s), power
supplies, and module controller customer replaceable units (CRUs) are located. Most
of the CRU removal activity involves cable disconnection, release of a latch or
loosening of captive screws, and the extraction of the CRU. Certain CRU removal and
replacement activity must be performed when the library is powered down (see
"Other CRUs" on
page 3-11).
