Bridged Drive Considerations
The robot control is a SCSI Medium Changer device that appears as LUN 1 on the
bridged tape drive.
■ If the library is not partitioned, there is a designated bridged drive that provides
the robot control for the entire library.
■ If the library is partitioned, there is a designated bridged drive that provides the
robot control for its assigned partition.
Removal of a bridge drive results in loss of host connectivity.
To Remove the Drive Tray
Note: If the failed drive is the bridged drive, see "Bridged Drive
Considerations".
