The device has a factory-set maximum speed and can additionally be operated at 3 reduced speeds.
Operating the ‘Speed button’:
 to the left;
Speed is gradually reduced.
 to the right;
Speed is gradually increased.
The speed setting is indicated by the '3-color speed LED (4)'.

 1 x reduced speed (75%) LED flashes green once
 2 x reduced speed (50%) LED flashes green twice
 3 x reduced speed (25%) LED flashes green three times
The speed is saved and again active at restart.
The 3 reduced speeds can be set up (modified) by the PALFINGER service partner.
The proportionality of the control levers is retained.
