Paltronic 150 safety equipment standard
HPLS
The HPLS system is activated with the Paltronic 150. It controls the speed and the reliable lifting force
of the crane, depending on the driving behavior and the capacity utilization. If several crane functions
are operated simultaneously, the reduction starts at a lower crane capacity utilization.
Safe crane operation is guaranteed using any facility with the HPLS. The maximum permitted load of
the components is monitored and non-permitted boom positions are prevented. The current capacity
utilization of the crane can be read off from the display unit.
The equipment can be used up to the load limit that has been defined for the crane. Then the crane
switches into the relevant overload.
All possible movements are indicated by arrows.
Movements that may be blocked:
 All movements that increase the load moment;
 All movements that reduce stability (with reduced load limits);
 All movements that can cause static overloading of a component.
The current overload situation is displayed on the Paltronic 150 display unit on the crane and/or the
remote control handset.
