Before positioning the liftgate against the vehicle, open the vehicles rollup door. The full weight of
the liftgate should be supported by the lifting device, and not the alignment plates, Fig 7. Do not
remove the lifting device.
4. Fit Liftgate Against Truck: Use a forklift (recommended) to position the liftgate flush against the vehicles
corner posts and sill.
