5. Centering the Liftgate to Vehicle: After positioning the gate against the vehicle, measure the distance
from the edges of the columns to the edges of the vehicle using a measuring tape. Measure at the top
of the columns and the at bottom, both measurements must be the same, Fig. 8. If both sides don’t
measure equally, shift the liftgate as required.
