Supplying the time code externally
You can supply the output time codes to a VTR or other recording device from the camera by matching the camera images or the replayed images.
<TC IN/OUT> terminal
<SDI OUT1> terminal, <SDI OUT2/IN> terminal, or <GL IN/VIDEO OUT> terminal
VIDEO IN terminal

Set to [VIDEO OUT] in the main menu → [IN/OUT SEL] → [TC OUTPUT REF].

Set to [HD SDI] or [COMPOSITE] to match the video output provided by the main menu → [IN/OUT SEL] → [GENLOCK SETTING]
→ [GL PHASE].

Set [TCG/TCR] in the main menu → [IN/OUT SEL] → [TC OUT].

Set [TC OUT] in the main menu → [IN/OUT SEL] → [TC IN/OUT SEL].

Connecting and setting the genlock and time code input/output
The relationship of the connecting and settings between the genlock and time code input/output is shown in the table.
When the genlock input and the camera output phase match, l is displayed, and when they do not match, × is displayed.
