Troubleshooting
E1-21: Mirror ratio drive
When the mirror stepping motor drives to the mirror home position sensor
and is not detected within a predetermined time.
Does the mirror unit move when the NO Mirror stepping motor connector is shorted or
power switch is turned ON? broken.
YES CN-115 or CN-123 (of LVPS PCB) is shorted or
broken.
Mirror drive mechanism is defective.
Mirror stepping motor is defective.
CPU PCB is defective.
Is DC5V (output signal) detected on the NO Is DC5V detected on the CN11-3 of the CPU
Mirror position sensor connector CN-1 ? PCB?
YES YES: Home position sensor connector is
shorted or broken.
NO: Check all DC5V lines.
Does CN11-2 (output signal of CPU PCB) NO Home position sensor connector is shorted or
change when the home position sensor is turned broken.
ON/OFF. Home position sensor mounting position is
incorrect.
Home position sensor is defective.
YES
CPU PCB is defective.
E1-23: F8-02 mis-input
Measurement input for adjusting the Input the average measurement correctly.
original registration Adjust F8-01 and F8-02 again.
E1-32: Auto original density detection
When the auto original density signal is not detected, or the auto original density
can not be adjusted.
Is original density sensor dirty? YES Clean the original density sensor.
NO
Is DC10V signal detected on CN11-12 CPU YES Original density sensor connector is shorted or
PCB? broken.
Original density sensor is defective.
NO
PCB is defective.
