A DC motor is used for the staple motor (M5). This circuit has major functions as
follows:
• Staple motor ON/OFF control
• Staple motor rotating direction control
• Staple motor overcurrent protection
Stapler safety switches are provided in the power supply path down to the staple
motor (M5).
The stapler safety switch (MS3/FA-S660) cuts off the power supply to drive the
staple motor (M5) when some object larger than about 5.5mm enters the stapler.
