15.3.2. CHARGING
Charging is the stage that keeps the surface of the sensitive drum a fixed electric potential. The sensitive drum is the Organic Photo
Conductor (OPC), which is a electric conductive cylinder whose surface is covered with the Charge Generation Transfer Layer
(CGTL).
When the charging bias (DC +4.35kv) is added and the plus charge is supplied to the opc surface while charging, the whole surface
potential of the drum is +475V.
