The KX-NS500 works as a voice IMAP4 server, so users can access the content of their mailboxes using a common e-mail
client which supports the IMAP4 protocol. With the Microsoft Outlook plug-in, users can access the content of their mailboxes
through Microsoft Outlook in the same way as they do for e-mail.
With the Outlook plug-in, users can do the following:

- Record and send voice messages
- Forward and reply to messages
- Call back the sender of a message
