Eventually, if Modification Table I is applied, the user-dialed number “9-
l-234-567-8910” is modified to “9-10333-1-234-567-8910” to access the
least expensive Carrier E.
Similarly. if Modification Table 2 is applied, it is modified to “9- 10555-
l-234-567-89 10” to access Carrier F.
Enter the “Removed Digit” program when it is necessary to delete some
leading digits from the user-dialed number. For example, if the user
manually dials a Carrier Access Code but the carrier is not the least
expensive, modification is required. For example, to delete “10333”
from the beginning of the user-dialed number and to add “10555.” enter
“5?in “Removed Digit” program. Enter “10555” in “Added Number”
program. When “9-10333-l-234-567-89 lo” is dialed,
9-10333-l-234-567-89 10.
Five digits are deleted and “10555” is added here. ‘.
“10555-1-234-567-89 10” is sent to the CO line.
