2.2 To hold the second call and then talk to the original party
After holding it, you can talk to the original party. Then, you can disconnect it and then talk to the new party
again.
• Depending on your telephone, you may be able to talk to the other party using the speaker and
the microphone (Off-hook Call Announcement [OHCA]), or you can receive an announcement
through the handset (Whisper OHCA), if you are having a conversation using the handset. For
telephones capable of using the OHCA and Whisper OHCA features, consult your dealer.
Refer to "1.7.3 Call Waiting/Off-hook Call Announcement (OHCA)/Whisper OHCA".
• The caller's name or number is displayed for five seconds in fifteen second intervals while waiting
to be answered.
