Power/Warning Indicators
When an indicator lights up
If a problem should occur inside the projector, the power indicator <ON(G)/STANDBY(R)> and the warning indicator
<WARNING> will inform you by lighting or blinking. Check the status of the indicators and remedy the indicated problems as
follows.
Attention
f Before you take a remedial measure, follow the procedure of switching the power off indicated in “Powering Off the
Projector” (x page 36).

Off Off
The power cord is
unplugged.

Lighting Off
The power cord is plugged. -- --
The projector is in standby
mode after the cooling is
completed.

Lighting Lighting in red
The replacement time of
the lamp unit is displayed.
(Standby mode)
f The indicator lights up
when the usage time of
the lamp unit reaches
6 000 hours (when
[Lamp control] is set to
[ (Eco 1)]).
f Replace the lamp
unit.
Lighting Blinking in red
It has exceed the replace-
ment time of the lamp unit
and the projector is turned
off automatically.
f The indicator blinks
when the usage time of
the lamp unit reaches
6 600 hours (when
[Lamp control] is set to
[ (Eco 1)]).
Blinking Off
The projector inside is
cooling down and after
a while, the projector is
turned off. (The projector
will enter into the standby
mode)
